A real student residence with an active residents’ committee, whose work has achieved things such as transforming the meeting room into a sociable living room. There’s no shortage of parties in this building! You’ll be living close to the Maas, of which you’ll have a magnificent view from the roof terrace on the 18^th (!) floor. From here, you can descend to the lovely Oostzeedijk for a craft beer at Locus Publicus or cycle to Witte de Withstraat in less than ten minutes.

Student accommodations with fantastic views

In Hoge Wiek, the rooms are an average size of 20m², with a kitchen, bathroom and toilet shared between two or more residents. There are also 38m² apartments where the kitchen, bathroom and toilet are completely private. Hoge Wiek has 207 rooms and four apartments. There is an active residents’ committee.

Living in the centre of Rotterdam

This is a really prime location, right on the Maas, alongside which you can go for a nice run. Or just walk for a few minutes to get to Oostzeedijk, where there’s never a dull moment for students. A five-minute cycle ride will get you to Blaak (train) station, the Markthal, the central library and the terraces of the Oude Haven. The other great thing about living so centrally is that the university and college buildings are also within cycling distance.
