The entrance to this residential building is to be found at Hoveniersstraat 12-126. It’s in a peaceful location, just on the edge of the centre. From here it’s only a few minutes’ walk to Meent and to the trendy Pannekoekstraat, with all its restaurants, bars and shops. Students have a choice of renting studios, apartments and rooms. In Voldelweg, even the rooms have the luxury of a private bathroom and toilet! When you feel like being sociable, you can meet up with your fellow residents on the communal roof terrace.

The rooms in the Vondelweg residential building are an average size of 19m². With these, you’ll share a kitchen with several people, but will have a bathroom and toilet all to yourself. The studios are an average size of 28m² and the apartments around 33m². Both of these accommodation types come with all the facilities as private. Vondelweg contains 32 rooms, 22 studios and 2 apartments. There is an active residents’ committee.

Rubroek: just outside the centre

The Rubroek district is just outside the centre. Around the corner from your building you’ll find the Industriegebouw on Goudsesingel, which is full of co-working spaces and trendy places to eat. Perfect for grabbing a pizza and/or a drink. In five minutes you can get to the famous Meent shopping street and to Pannekoekstraat. This neighbourhood is home to plenty of cosy bars and restaurants, as well as the weekly market on Binnenrotte. Blaak and Centraal stations can be reached by bike in five to ten minutes. The college and university buildings are within cycling distance. A superb location for students.
